busy busy day

When I got home this morning, after getting B his morning coffee and bagel, we sat down to finish watching a movie we started last week (PS I Love You) it was good. Then I got him up and ready for the day...shower, dressed, sneakers on, sweatshirt, running pants, he questioned my choice in clothing and I told him it was a whopping 42 degrees outside, he relented and allowed the sweatshirt (barely). I got him out the door and in the Jeep, we were off to get a haircut. No problems at the barber's. (same women who has cut his hair since he was 3 yrs old, very nice lady) After the haircut we went on to the park for his daily walk, where we met a high school friend of B's, her name is Andrea, very nice, works in the jewelry business (we are so going to be friends, hee hee) We are having dinner with her and her husband next week. After the park where we walked for over an hour, we were off to go grocery shopping, B sat this on out in the car. When I finished with the groceries we were off to Blockbuster for a PSP game; they didn't have what he was looking for so we tried a different Blockbuster, no dice. The fine and lovely ladies at Blockbuster told us to try Gamestop, so we did. Well we went in looking for a game and came out with 3 games and B's very own PSP, I guess after all he has been through he kind of deserves it, right?Finally we arrive back at home and have an iron filled lunch of burgers (B must have iron/meat with every meal per the surgeon to get his blood count back up for second surgery in 10 day) We watched Over MY Dead Body and by this time I was ready for a nap, so off we go. B goes to lay down and play his new games and I head off to get some much needed sleep. The alarm goes off at 5:30 and i must get him some dinner, we eat and spend time together, the it is off to his room to watch the Red Sox and Celtics play, I go back to bed (have to be to work at 2am, overtime)All in all it was a great day having B spend most of it with me, getting out and getting some fresh air.
