I have to work a double

Today I am working a double so that I can have Oct. 13, 2008 off for my Tufts Women's 10K Race in Boston. I am so glad I have the day off, I now have Oct. 12-15th off( the day before to get ready and 2 days after to recover) I have a friend running with me which is great, now I don't have to run by myself, yeah!!! B sent me off to work today with plenty of food, for me and everyone I work with, he is a wonderful packer. I had chicken, potatoes, and pasta, and he went out for dinner with his parents and brought me garlic bread sticks for Olive Garden, yum-o! I however did not eat all that I brought, and I will be bring alot of it home; only to come back in with me tonight for my regular shift. Ahh tonight is my last night on for 2 nights however, I have overtime on Wednesday at 2am- 6am.
We are heading to Pawtucket on Wed. for the Paw Sox playoff game, woohoo. I love baseball, football not so much, but I do watch the Pats every Sunday faithfully, my marriage depends on it, hee hee. I am so tired and I can't wait to go home and go to bed for 10 hours, yeah, not...my puppies would never let me get away with being in bed for 10 hours. B was home all day with the puppsters, so they had daddy one on one time, no mommy. They love having daddy all to themselves. I took Riley for a ride the other day and we went to Micky D's, and he got his very own ice cream for being a good boy and staying in his seat belt. Yes, my dogs wear seat belts, I won't letstart the car if they are not locked in. They are my puppies and if I was ever in an accident I don't want to wonder were they landed by being thrown form the car, I wear a seat belt and so does every other living thing in my car. Only three more hours and I can go home and them it is puppy time for mommy, I miss them so much when I am not there, however I know they are in safe hands.

B returns to work on Tuesday and he is not happy to find out that they are now double bunking a level 6 Supermax Prison, this is ridiculous and extremely unsafe. It appears that they are going to change MCI Walpole Cedar Junction into a medium security prison and all the Maximum inmates are coming to Souza, again not safe. I never really worry about B while he is at work, because I know the guys he works with and the have each others back, but this is getting dangerous and you can't watch every one all the time, even with their security cameras. I now worry every time he walks out the door for work, and relax every day when he calls to say he is safe and on his way home.
I love B more than life itself and there will be hell to pay if something were to happen to him while on SBCC's watch, hell to pay, I tell you.
B is my best friend and soul mate, we joke all the time that we have no luck, because we used it all up when we found each other. He is my whole world, well he and the puppies.
