Crutches only crutches!!!

B finally progressed to only using crutches, we have retired the walker!!!! We are so very excited for this, it means generally more freedom. Yesterday we did a little shopping, got out to see the progress at the end of our street, in that we mean, we checked out the stop lights that they are putting in!!! This is great news for us as we live on a street that is nearly impossible to get out of, and now we are going to have stop lights!!!! They will be up and operational in about 3 weeks but the poles are in, yeah!!!! We stayed in all of today I even went so far as having pizza delivered instead of going to get it, yeah, I know LAZY! We just enjoyed each others company and watched movies all day with the puppies, by the way it was 100 degrees here today and we had the A/C on all day. As I was getting ready for work however B was having a serious meltdown, he had been having pain all day but didn't want to bother me with it that he kept it to himself and could never really get in front of it, and knowing I was leaving for the night just made him lose it, that and knowing that I was coming at him with his Lovenox shot. He detests the shots but understands its use so he sucks it up and moves on, however tonight the stinging left by the shot lingered longer than usual and add that to his hip pain, he was understandably miserable. I called to check on him when I got to work and he said the pain was getting better, I really hope he was not lying to me to make me feel better about coming to work. We did have some really good parts to today one major one being, B moved back into our room today. His incisions have closed up completely now so we don't worry about the puppies jumping and opening the sites. It was nice to say good bye to everyone at the same time tonight and all in the same room. B feels better being back in his own bed and the puppies are right beside him and I know they feel better now that daddy is back where he belongs, with his wonderful well behaved babies.
This is what Riley does evertime I take B out of the house now, he hates when daddy goes away. I remind him as I am leaving that I will bring daddy back, I really don't think he believes I will if he is not sitting in the window watching.
Notice the blanket underneath Riley? That is his blankey and he brings it every where with him, we joke and call him Linus (Peanuts) Every where he goes the blankey goes, he hates when I wash it, I have to sneak it out when he is not looking or we will play tug of war over it. However when it is all clean and ready to come out of the dryer Riley will go to the basement and grab it right out of the dryer (after I open it of course)
