Diets and training

Well the turkey is on it's way to gramma's house,
and we are back on our diets, no more excuses now. We are comitted to losing 15 lbs by Christmas. This should be attainable for both of us to reach, we have done it in the past and we can do it again. The name of the game is discipline, and the whole wrapping your mind around it and going for it. I have a number in mind for my Christmas present to myself, and I will get what I want for Christmas. I am stubborn and hopeful that this new strategy will work, and I'm holding all of you (the one of you) accountable. I can not fail. I will not fail. I am going all or nothing starting tomorrow as far as training goes...February is right around the corner. I am hoping to have a couple of friends running with us, they said yes and were not drinking when they agreed, however I have been through this before when they always say they will do it but as the date approaches and you ask about their training, and they always tell you something came up and now I can't do it. Yep! I have heard it all before,
I think that's way I like running with Brian better, I know and track all his running.
He better be serious about running because I just bought him his Christmas gift and it has everything to do with running.
I bought him the Garmin Forerunner 301.
He better like it, it's the one he asked for, darn it.
Hee Hee... I know he'll like it, however I told him we could not afford it at this time,
but maybe in the spring...I'm more excited than he will be, hee hee.
