where did I go?

Where did I go? Let me tell ya's...Wow it has been awhile...First off I managed to get some much needed time off to spend with B. We spent a lot of time just hanging at home with the puppies, watching movies, going to the gym and rehab.
B is making huge progress in his rehab, better everyday. He got on a stationary bike last week twice and rode for 10 min each time, yeah!!!! He managed to walk successfully everywhere on one crutch, huge!!! He loves his rehab girls, they are awesome.
We are meeting with the doctor today and his physical therapist has requested that he get rid of the crutches permanently, and go to just using a cane when out for long periods of time, but mostly to walk on his own and strengthen those butt muscles. He wobbles but he doesn't fall down, hee hee. He walks around the house on his own, and is getting better at it every day. I am so proud of him, for I know I would not have handled all this as gracefully.
We went to the Boston Health and Fitness expo yesterday, it was great. We met and had Teddy Bruschi sign his book, B is a huge fan of him on and off the field.
We also saw the first female winner of biggest loser, wow does she look great!!!
We are both celebrating our birthdays this week and B has bought me a beautiful green topaz ring and a new 12 mega pixel camera, however he doesn't know this yet, you see he can not drive to get me anything, so he told me to pick out anything I wanted and get it, so of course I did.
I will be able to post pic of B recovery soon.
As for the driving part..well B actually drove last Thursday home from the garage, as I had no other way to get the Jeep home (new shocks). I followed him home (2 miles) he did great, but he did say it hurt, alot... you use those butt muscles more than you know. Pressing down on the gas pedal and brake all starts with the butt muscles in the hip area, as he found out very quickly. Painful!
As for Riley and Annabelle they are doing great, they love having daddy home and are taking great care of him. Annabelle still remains on guard and refuses to let Riley up on daddy's bed most nights, but he manages to get in there every once in a while.
