I have been absent for a few days so let me catch up, Saturday night we went to dinner with Brian's grandmother and family, a very nice evening all around, I managed to have a salad and 2 slices of pizza. I know I stayed within my point allowance, so that was good. Sunday morning we met my parents for a birthday breakfast, I had eggs, sausage, toast and pancakes...I know what your thinking pancakes? Well I added these to my flex points for the week and I have managed to stay within my point allowance once again, yeah!!!! I have been very good the past few days staying at or below my points for the day. I have gone to the gym and either ran or did the StairMaster...I have not added in my activity points so basically these are considered free points that I don't eat, helping to keep the days points down. I consume my daily points and nothing more, I hope this will allow me to lose weight, however I do eat, I just make sure to follow it to the T and I make better food choices, which means fewer calories resulting in fewer points...
so far so good, things are working. the scale and I are becoming friends more and more daily. Monday we had a snow day!!! A couple of inches, and I decided that
I would fore go the snow blower, and shovel the entire driveway and walkway
and count this as my workout for the day, hee hee. Tuesday we did the stair Master...oh so much fun, I truly love this machine! I will be running on Thursday and also taking a ride class. a super size cardio day...This (Thursday)is also my last day of work till Dec. 21 as I will be on vacation...then I only work the 21st - 25th, then I am off the remainder of the year, yeah!!!
Wednesday was a rest day, why? Because the heating guy said he would be at the house between 9 am and noon, well at 12:30 I called and they said he had been delayed (thanks for the call) and that he would be here around 1:30, yeah right, it was after 2:30 when he arrived!!! Now, normally this would not have been so bad, BUT I worked last night and got home at 6am, and napped on the couch till 8 am when I got up to shower and wait for the heating guy... so now I have worked and slept only 2 hours and hubby is on his way home at 3pm. I advised him I needed to sleep as I had to work this evening, he said ok, you can sleep after the gym and grocery shopping. I gave into the grocery shopping but put my foot down at going to the gym (workout then try and sleep, I think not!) So I got home around 4:10 pm, made bluberry muffins and went to bed. I finally fell asleep around 6:45 (at least that was the last time I looked at the clock) and woke to the alarm going off at 9pm... up up up for work at 10pm. I am so so tired and really want to crash!!!!
