Vacation, Stadiums, the vets, & god awful legs!

This is what I'm putting on the shirts I wear at the 1/2 Marathons, I love it!!! It is me in a nutshell! Can't wait for the Disneyland Race, upon reading the web site I learned you actually run on the field at Angel's Stadium, this alone will get Brain up and running.

We are planning a week out in California, Brian is making it a baseball week, we will be seeing a baseball game in every park, Giant's Stadium, Angel's Stadium, Dodger Stadium, and any other I may have missed. I figure if he's going to support me and run the race I can at least support him and catch a few baseball games, who knows I may see A-Rod in a Dodger's uniform, hee hee; anywhere but Boston!!!

OK, we have the little guys (nephew) 5th birthday today. It's at 1pm, I feel as though I may be late, I work till 6 am would like to get 6 hours of sleep in first, we will most definitely be 30 minutes late, aah that's nothing new to my family, I'm early for everything except family functions (go figure). Still haven't gotten him anything, mom told me to pick up an educational game for Game Boy...Okay? So we may now be even later as I still have to get a present,

oh wrapping it, HUH! Gift Bag!!! Card? Why he can't read, no sense spending the money for it to be thrown away 10 minutes later. Yeah, I'm CHEAP!!!

Hubby was not thrilled with the idea of a birthday party on the same day, that his beloved Patriots are playing the biggest game of the year, as far as he's concerned this game is more important and a better match up than the beloved Super Bowl. See what I deal with, huh?

We are getting ready for Kevin's wedding on Friday night and I have nothing to wear, nothing! The dress I wanted to wear doesn't fit!!! Too big, now I have to find time to go and get a dress and of course that will entail getting some shoes to go along with it, OK, now I'm not your typical female I hate dress shopping!!!!I don't mind shoe shopping but dress shopping sucks! I can never find anything to wear, ever. I wear a size 4/6 and do you think I can find anything cute in that size, NO!!! When I was heavier there was nothing to be found in an 8/10, and now it seems all the cute clothes are there in that section, and in my section are dresses that wouldn't fit my Barbie dolls. Hello? I may have lost weight but I still need coverage, my goodness, not everyone who wears a 4/6 has great legs,

I have legs but they are FAR, FAR, light years away from being great.

This is why I run, Oh? There actual health benefits from running?

I need a nice dress and I'm contemplating tall boots, so that I can show as little leg as possible. Halloween is over and I'm not up to scaring the Bride on her wedding day with my legs.

Riley (Boxer) was feeling a little left out while Annabelle was sick and getting the attention a sick puppy gets, you know the tummy rubs, the extra kisses, one on one time with mommy.

So he decided to go out and get an awful ear infection! That's right an awful ear infection. That was so painful the vet couldn't believe he was clawing at his ear to make the pain go away.

You have to know Riley, he is a lover not a fighter, he has taken many a beatings by all his siblings we've introduced him to. His big brother Baron (German Shepard) sent him into shock twice, my Fawn baby was GRAY!!! Lily my other Boxer was a brute for a girl, she loved to play hard and show no mercy. Annabelle is the Queen of Mean. She is the Alpha dog in our house because Riley would just rather love and get along, Belle on the other hand is only happy when causing trouble, if Riley has something she wants it, if Riley is getting attention, she wants it. She bites his ears constantly, But if you push her away and tell her to stop, Riley gets all defensive and like "don't you move her away or raise your voice to her" He just loves her.

So for all the pain he has endured over the past 8 years, I guess he didn't think much of an ear ache. So $80.00 later we leave the vets office with antibiotic solution to be placed in his ear for 7 days...so far so good, he's not complaining, as if he would.

He is mommy's little man!!!
