Free is always good

We received a gift card in the mail today for Olive Garden and it was delicious. B came home from work at 3:15 and I asked him if he was hungry and he said yes, then I asked him if he wanted a free dinner he said ahh, what? I told him about the gift card and he was all for it. I joked with him that he could order anything he wanted and he did. He had the Grilled shrimp Caprese, he loved it! I had the never ending pasta bowl, angel hair and meat sauce, with a whole new bowl of leftovers, yum-o. We split the Lemon Creme Cake 60-40, I was the 40. We usually go to the Olive Garden the night before I race and order the NEPB (carbo loading for running) We always have left overs, but seeing as we were not paying B really loves the Grilled Shrimp so he splurged. It was a great dinner and it had not yet begun to rain.

We arrived back home, still no rain and managed to get the puppies out one more time before Hanna hit, and wow did she hit hard the rain is unbelievable. Buckets, I tell ya buckets...however it is not raining cats and dogs, hee hee, ours were tucked safely inside staring out the windows.

I did not make it to the gym today as I caught up on some much needed sleep. The puppies and I really enjoyed our sleeping at 2 hour increments as people were out handing out election day pamphlets. Annabelle does not like anyone on her property, so she barked every time someone placed something in our door. Mommy was not happy! B being as wonderful as ever told me to lay down as soon as we got home so I could get a few hours sleep before work and he would get the laundry done, ahh I love this man more than words can say. However I was woken up when the satellite went out and he could no longer watch the Red Sox game, Florida Gator Football game or the movie (all @ the same time mind you) He had a few choice words when this happened and startled the sleeping puppy next to me, ahh so much for sleep. However the laundry was washed folded and waiting for me...Did I mention I love this man?
