Paw Sox

We went to Providence RI last night for a Paw Sox game and managed to see Papi hit a 3 run home run...woohoo. I bought the tickets in April when they went on sale not knowing at that time Papi would be rehabbing in RI. What a frenzy at the ballpark. Papi walked in the first, walked in the 3rd, homered in the 5th and walked in the 7th only to reach first base and have the rain come pouring down, I'm talking buckets of rain; and thunder it was so loud you thought at first it was manufactured thunder, the lightening was unreal but beautiful. We waited out the storm with 11,000 other people and decided it was time to head home... they called the game right after we left. It was a nice ride home the lightening lit up the sky the entire way home and B managed to stay awake for the whole ride, woohoo. B used his crutches while at the game, just in case he got bumped; we are really glad we had them as he was bumped more than once or twice..rather alot. We really did however have a blast.

We are celebrating our dad's birthday's today..his step dad's is 7/19 and my daddy is 7/20, so we celebrate them together.
